This is a project that is greatly conditioned by its initial premises: a small triangular plot; oblique views of the sea; strict and rigid urban planning that requires a parking space for each dwelling and a single access to the garage; and the urban condition of the plot, which acts as a hinge between the old town of the village and the Far de Palamós neighborhood.
During the project development, uncertainty is at its highest: is it possible to design five dwellings with the described premises? The solution: to precisely position the staircase and the garage ramp so that both intersect at the appropriate location and time.
The rest of the project is a consequence of the position of the staircase within the plot and the desire to make the most of the available space and offer spacious and warm dwellings, where the view and the mind can rest with the horizon of the sea, present in the background.
